Garden by eBay is where they want to “plant the seeds of new ideas”. Launched February 9th, eBay will let you try out new features that they are testing. Currently, they have two features to test.

1. Streamlined Search: When using this, you’re not overwhelmed by all of the selectable options on the left side and you’re able to scan over stuff to see if this is what you’re actually looking for. The search bar stays on the top, faster drilldown on the categories, select to view Buy It Now listings and Auctions side-by-side, and see item details with a Quick Look option.

2. Diamond Ring Designer: This is eBay’s new interactive experience that helps customize the perfect diamond ring. Choose from thousands of loose diamonds and hundreds of gorgeous ring settings, then mix and match to create a ring.
