eBay Bucks Rewards Program Opens for U.S. Users

eBay has announced that they have opened a new rewards program for all users in the United States. The program, called eBay Bucks, began yesterday. The program works by giving consumers 2% back on most purchases they make on the site with Paypal. The eBay Bucks accumulate with every purchase made and after each yearly quarter (3 months) eBay issues a certificate which can be redeemed on eBay with purchases made through Paypal. The certificate has to be redeemed within 30 days of being issued.

There are some limits to the eBay Bucks program. For example, the maximum value of eBay Bucks used towards one purchase is $200, and no more than $500 in eBay Bucks can be redeemed per year by a single user. eBay Classifieds, Business & Industrial Capital Equipment, Real Estate, and eBay Motors are all excluded from the program, however Parts & Accessories in eBay Motors is included. The program is only available to U.S. residents.

If you’re not already signed up you have to enroll in eBay Bucks before you can take advantage of the rewards program.
